Our footprint in China can be traced back as early as 1999, two years
after our Asia’s presence.
With an aim of being closer to our clients, Shanghai office was established in 2002, strengthening the presence of Kienbaum Asia Pacific Networks. We have shown steady development and great confidence in this homogeneous land.

Franz-Josef Kleideitert, Managing Director, Singapore/Bangkok/Shanghai
Franz-Josef Kleideitert is the Managing Director and Owner of FJK Consultants Pte Ltd, which he founded in 1997 as a spin-off of Kienbaum Consultants International. Prior to FJK, he was a Director at Kienbaum in Frankfurt and Singapore.
His 36 years of professional experience include 21 years in HR and Line Management and most recently 15 years of HR management consulting.
His focus is on executive search for various industries (eg. chemical, automotive, industrial) across all functions, including national and international top management. He has extensive work experience in executive search, leadership assessment and development, training, business management, and customer service & operations and assists clients define their leadership strategy, design and deliver leadership assessment and development programs.
Before turning to the field of Executive Search, he held HR Director and HR specialist positions in companies such as Digital Equipment, Stinnes/Schenker and a Managing Director position at Thomson CSF Medical.
Franz-Josef graduated in Economics with majors in Human Resources Management and Marketing from the University of Bielefeld, Germany, is fluent in German and English and has lived in Germany and Singapore.
